1974 E9 BMW 3.0 CS:
Originally purchased new by an architect in northern California - this zero rust and numbers matching e9 was purchased by its second owner and transported to Mesquite, Texas.
In 2019 it was purchased and brought to OKC by its current owner to undergo a 4-year restoration/upgrades.
The car now features an E28 Getrag 5-speed manual gearbox, European bumpers, and dual Webers.
A bare metal/non-windows out preparation with primer/fresh Nachtblau (040) paint, 3-layers of clear coat was conducted by current owner (with front USA side markers removed). The current owner also retrofitted a front air dam from an e24 m6.
The car features e28 window motor upgrades, strut tower brace and new window / door rubber. Newly refurbished dash was installed (Just Dashes) and complete wood refurbishment by done by Madera Concepts.
New Falken tires sit under Bilsteins and front pads were just changed.Additionally-the owner installed a brand new Sanden 134a a/c system with all new hoses, condenser, receiver/drier, temp switch.
All (Gates) belts are brand new.
Showing 34,800 miles (TMU), the car runs smoothly and shows no signs of blow-by.
New carpeting and Gobi leatherette and matching headliner were included in interior restoration - including recent Momo steering wheel re-finish, and a new Blaupunkt stereo/speakers.
A nearly complete tool box is also featured.
