Originally exported to South Africa from Uk from new (Pretoria) having first been converted to RHD by BMW Concessionaires. Imported back to UK in 1997 via company called Colonial Classics and then sold to first UK owner. Limited SA history but detailed history of UK owners and car details. The body is very original and has minor work only and a repaint in a non-original metallic green close to but nicer than Turkis. Original colour was Tundra Green. Interior is the original tan leather. Condition is excellent and body is highly original as is engine still with its original cylinder head.
Upgraded 5-speed overdrive gearbox and lowered springs with Bilstein dampers and running on 7.5J 15’ Alpina’s. A/C fitted in South Africa in 1970’s.
