Well documented in many sources. Car was sold to a German customer, then sold to a USA buyer in the late 70's. It was advertised for sale in the late 90's in the Roundel, and sold to the President of the German BMW club. He restored the cars over a period of years in a well documented restoration, and the car then passed to a French owner in 2004. Sold at auction in 2009 in Monterey, CA, the car was purchased by an English buyer who in 2008-2009-2010 purchased about 50 other cars. In 2011 he cleared out part of the collection, this being one of them and the car was sold in 2012 and brought back to the USA.
