The BMW 3.0 CSi VIN 2264734 was manufactured on March 12th, 1973 and delivered on March 21st, 1973 to Italy. The original colour was Nachtblau metallic, paint code 040.
According to anecdotal ownership history, the original buyer was a German gentleman who bought the car while living in Milan. (Manuals are still with the car, and in Italian.) He was relocated to California in the 1980s, and brought the car over. It became his wife's daily driver until they sold it to a Bay Area collector around 1997, whom I purchased it from in September 2011.
