Car was delivered on June 21st, 1972 to the BMW importer MOTAG in Z?rich-Dielsdorf, Switzerland. It was subsequently imported privately into the U.S. in 1984, and lived in the same town in Connecticut with two owners for the next 26 years. Mechanical work (new fuel tank, pump, lines and sensor; new exhaust) recently completed by BMW of Greenwich using BMW Mobile Tradition parts. Stripped and resprayed in original Polaris by Julio Grosso, Danbury CT. Cooling system (radiator, water pump, hoses, etc.) renewed 9/12 at BMW of Greenwich. Runs like new.
