This 1972 BMW 3.0 CSi VIN 2263319 was manufactured on September 8th 1972 and delivered September 22nd 1972 to BMW of Persia in Tehran. Original color 037 Fjord Metalik. Second ownership in Europe for 8 years until 1992 until being imported to California until 2015, Indiana until 2021 and currently titled in Florida. Purchased as a very complete, numbers matching and driving car with original unrestored interior and well maintained with service records and receipts. Overall solid, complete and straight with some rust found in the usual areas on an unrestored 50 year old E9. New floor pans, one shock tower, front fenders and sills were correctly metal repaired. It has been seam sealed, dipped and repainted in its original 037 Fjord Blue Metalik. E9's in general and especially a CSi are now scarce and certainly worth saving. The car is now structurally excellent and the original M30B30 engine, driveline, Getrag 4-speed and D-Jetronic fuel injection system have been rebuilt, restored and retained for originality.
